Soifer Center

The words of the Torah accompany the Jew all his life. And sometimes in the most literal way. The jamb of the Jewish house distinguishes, decorates and protects the mezuzah – a small parchment scroll with a certain passage from the Torah, usually inside the case.

Every weekday, a Jew imposes a truly Jewish decoration – tefillin boxes. Inside there are also parchments with the words of the Holy Torah.

And, of course, in every synagogue there is at least one Torah Scroll, which Jews read on Saturdays, as well as Mondays and Thursdays, so that three days do not pass without reading the Torah, because the Torah for a Jew is the Book of Life.

The Moscow Soifer Center is a place where dozens of Torah Scrolls are inspected, restored and transferred to synagogues of communities annually.

Thanks to the work of the Soifer Center, mezuzahs are monthly installed in dozens of Moscow premises and several ceremonial contributions of Torah Scrolls to Jewish communities around the world are held annually. An equipped workshop for checking and repairing tefillin is constantly working here.
